I didn’t see a mention whether someone was going to be onsite while the video interviews are being conducted, so I think it will be interesting to see the results of this study. A new study came out showing a huge increase in telemedicine services for employers (see here: https://www.towerswatson.com/en-US/Press/2014/08/current-telemedicine-technology-could-mean-big-savings), and while new HD technology has shown incredible results in acquiring patient diagnostics, companies might be missing the bigger picture without a worksite staff member present. Misdiagnosis rates will creep up, and in general, patients trust healthcare providers that are “in-house” rather than over the phone.

We wrote a post about this very issue here: http://www.inhousephysicians.com/telemedicine-for-employers-is-it-really-saving-us-money/
